As If You Needed More Reasons to Go Reusable

Yes, we all know that reusable bags are wonderful for saving our oceans and the environment, but what if you need other reasons as well? Well, holiday blog Holidash has a list of some lesser reasons to make this the season you ditch your disposables.

* Comfort: What’s a better reason than comfort? You know how you shop for a day and end up with red, sore hands and wrists from the bags that weighed you down? There’s no reason to continue the discomfort when you can purchase some comfortable bags to ease the burden — ones with shoulder straps, comfort handles, and all the perks you can’t get in regular ol’ plastic and paper.

* Ease: Using reusable bags means there’s less to store and less to throw out. You won’t have piles of paper bags and neverending piles of plastic, so less effort, time, and money will be spent trying to store or deal with them.

Oh hey, environmental reasons are in there as well. Probably because they’re inescapable. There are plenty of fun and even practical reasons to make a switch to reusable bags in the holiday season (and there are still more, check out the whole blog entry!), but one that shouldn’t be forgotten is making sure that the earth will be here to support many, many, many more holiday seasons to come.
