Earth Day Lights Up Twitter

The blogosphere is still eagerly awaiting the coming of Earth Day (April 22!), and it’s interesting to see how hotly the topic is being covered on Twitter as thousands of eco-conscious and tech-savvy microbloggers sound off on their thoughts and suggestions for the holiday and surrounding month. Some of the tweets hold some real interest, for example LA Neighborhood Clean-Up Project letting us know about a clean-up of Echo Park scheduled for the 26th:
