CA STEPS UP TO BAN THE PLASTIC BAG!!!
No commentsIt’s been a long time in coming but today CA state govenor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed the bill that will prohibit any grocery, liquor or convienience store from giving out plastic bags! The alternative is that these stores will have to offer REUSEABLE BAGS that cost about $1 or will sell the customer a paper bag made from recycled paper (if they forget their bag).
This is truly wonderful news and we here at ReuseThisBag.com are ecstatic about it! A true gift to the environment!
It is our hope that the rest of the country will follow suit and do the same within the next 5 years!
