Going Green to Get Green with the CW

The CW: a dangerous television station indeed, as it is home to a wide variety of hopelessly addicting shows. Luckily for the environment, the station has decided to use its hypnotic powers for something productive. With their Green Your World contest, you can tell the CW how you would make your neighborhood greener and earn a chance at $10,000 in cash and prizes.

It’s part of the station’s larger Free 2 Be Green campaign, encouraging teens to think globally and act locally in the fight to conserve and improve the environment. If your parents and teachers can’t get you interested in some eco-activism, leave it to the Gossip Girls and the cast of 90210 to make it both fashionable and fun.
